JAMMU, Nov 1: Providing better quality infra to inhabitants of Jammu West, Former State President BJP J&K and Ex-MLA Sat Sharma (CA) visited Ward 37 of the Assembly segment and started works for blacktopping of roads in the area. He was also accompanied by a number of people including Corporator Sunita Gupta, Janipur Mandal President BJP Raveesh Mengi, PWD (Public Works Department) officials, BJP activists and inhabitants of the ward. Pertinent to mention, Former MLA toured this area some days back for which he had assured that work on roads will start in days.
The works are being done under the supervision of PWD at an estimated cost of Rupees 47 lakhs and areas of Ward 16 and 36 (New Plot and Janipur) will also be covered under the same.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that BJP is committed to working for masses and wherever possible we are trying our level best to provide the best infrastructure to the inhabitants of Jammu West Assembly segment so that public distress could be avoided.He stated that though he is not a sitting legislator today but he has been following his daily routine to interact with hundreds of people every day and visiting various wards of Jammu West on daily basis is his topmost agenda so that he could personally interact with them and know about their problems which are also solved on priority, he added. He also appreciated the efforts of PWD for looking into the grievances of the public seriously.
Sunita Gupta said that Ward 37 has been equipped with every modern infra and the credit goes to Former MLA who is still in public and doing his best to solve the problems of masses. She also stated about upcoming developmental works in the area.
The residents of the ward hailed the proactive approach of Former MLA and stated that Ward has been equipped with all modern infra and that is due to his efforts, who is still working 24*7 in order to provide best possible services to the masses.
Rohit Gupta, Jatin Gupta, Ravi Sharma, Sahil Gupta, Rakesh Gupta, Bittu Sharma, Vicky Sharma, Neeru Sehgal, Deep Sehgal, Swaran Singh and others were present.
