JAMMU, Nov 1: An information was received at P/S Domana through reliable sources that persons namely Pawan Kumar S/o Sardari lal R/o Ghomanhasan & Abhimanyu Takiya @ chinku S/o Vinod Takiya R/o Lane number 4 Shakti Nagar Jammu and others were involved in carrying out illegal betting during IPL matches
On this special police teams were formed under the supervision of SDPO Domana Dy.SP Kousheen Koul. The police team headed by SHO P/S Domana Insp. Chanchal Singh raided the place and seized Rs 69900 Cash, mobile phones and many documents from the spot.
In this regard, a case FIR No. 305/2020 u/s 420/120-B IPC, 3/4 Gambling Act got registered in P/s Domana.
Further investigation of the case is going on. |
