Stephens College of nursing organizes online printing, Slogan writing competition

Jammu, Nov 1: Red Ribbon Club, Stephens College of Nursing in collaboration with J&K AIDS Control Society, Department of Health & Medical Education Department, Government of Jammu & Kashmir organized Slogan Writing & Printing Competition on the event of National Voluntarily Blood Donation Day on the theme ‘Let’s Donate Blood Voluntarily & Contribute to fight against Corona’. A huge number of participants from various Schools, Colleges, Nursing Institution, Institutions and Universities participated in these Competition.
The Forte of these Competition was that the participants of these competition were not only students but also Professors, Assistant Professors, Teachers & Scholars of various institutions. All the participants participated enthusiastically & zealously. People from outside India i.e. abroad also participated vigorously and ardently.
Many staff members and students of Stephens International Public School also participated wholeheartedly and fervently.. Dr. Kamal Saini IPS(IGP Retd.) Chairman SCON and Mrs. Satvinder Saini (Director SIPS) highly appreciated the performance of the participants and congratulated Stephens College of Nursing for conducting such Incredible Competition. The main motto of organizing the competition was to engage the people in amid COVID -19 and to cognizant the people to donate blood voluntarily.
The initiative was taken by Dr. Mustaq Ahmed Rather (Project Director JKSACS), Manoj Kotru (Administrator SCON) & Ritu Gupta (Assistant Professor & Activity Incharge SCON).
Both the Competition were coordinated by Ritu Gupta (Assistant Professor & Activity Incharge)with the cooperation of Deepika Thakur (Deputy Director IEC), Rishish Khajuria(Assistant Director Pubilicity), Rajesh Sharma ((Assistant Director Youth Affairs, JKSACS) and Ashish Saraf (Divisional Assistant, IEC). The technical support was provided by the technical expert Sahil Verma.
