Jammu, Nov 1: Dr. R.R Khajuria, a veteran echoed as a great eputome of Gandhian philosophy of peace and harmony in his lifetime service towards society. An honest, dedicated minionary crusader in serving the needy humanity who founded a large number of social organisation. He served the Government of J&K, Department of Animal Husbandry and retired as Managing Director of "Milk Federation" Jammu. He is the founder member and President of J&K Samaj Kalyan Kendra (estd.-1980), a premier social organisation and founded first school for dumb and deaf children. For his outstanding contribution in the field, he has been conferred with about a dozen of "National and International" awards. The most prominent one was received by the "President of India Late Sh. Shankar Dayal Sharma" at New Delhi. He was born in village Koota of Hiranagar Tehsil,district-Kathua on 4th October 1933 and presently he is 87+years of age, now residing at Channi Himmat Jammu. Sum up his personality the following stanza is the most appropriate:- "Always be honest and truthful even though it might hurt or create conflicts. Be in with your personal values and make choices based on what you believe and not on what others like. Live the life with honesty,truth and integrity".A lesson for the society-To follow his way of life to be a human being in real sense. |
