| Mayor, Commissioner review development works at Bandhu Rakh | | |

Jammu, Nov 4: Chander Mohan Gupta, Mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation accompanied by Chairman today inspected Bandu Rakh & took stock of the ongoing development activities at the said site along with Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corproaton, Avny Lavasa, Joint Commissioner (W), Sunil Thusoo. Mayor went round the whole land at Bandu rakh and stated that there are different proposals have been framed by Jammu Municipal Corporation for proper utilization of the land and added that first of all JMC shall start chain linked fencing of all its land at Bandurakh to avoid any incident of encroachments over the land. He further stated that there is a proposal to establish a JMC Nursery over the said land and stated that retaining wall shall also be constructed as water gets accumulated in the land because of reason that during rainy season nallah gets overflowed and water enters into land. Mayor also laid foundation stone for the construction of deep drain and chain linked fencing at Bandurakh site. He further added that JMC shall prepare a proposal for the construction of horse equines and cattle shed over the said land at Bandurakh. He issued on spot directions to the Engineering Wing to expedite the construction work and also apprise the bottlenecks in executing the said works to the authorities so that the same can be removed and desired results could be achieved. He further added that these are the priorites of JMC and need is to focus on it so that all the proposals are implemented in a better and effective way. |
