| Table Top session hosted ahead of Disaster response drill | | |

DODA, Nov 4: District administration Doda today hosted a Table Top session ahead of Disaster Response Drill being held here under the chairmanship of District Development Commissioner, Dr Sagar D Doifode. Dr Sagar urged the participants to focus on eeadiness, timely response and Active preparedness as these are pre-requisite to tackle any Disaster. A in coordination with NDRF. During the program, the Concerned Officers of NDRF team briefed the participants about the working and Composition of the NDRF. A pictography on the rescue operations of NDRF team wherein they saved many precious human lives and property through proper response management were also shown.While speaking on the occasion, the DC informed the participants that not only Doda district but entire Chenab region comes falls in high seismic zone where effective Disaster Management is a pre-requisite. He also urged upon all the stakeholders to come forward for the better understanding of disaster response and participate in the mock drills regarding earthquake and landslide disaster response going to be held at Sports Stadium and in the adjoining area of Doda town i.e at Barath road respectively. |
