JAMMU, Dec 7: A motivational speech was delivered by student coordinator of YCET Ehtisham Khan to 1st Semester and 3rd Semester students under online club activity organized by GEAR Club, Mechanical department of Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology. The Programme was organized to make the fresher well acquainted with the rich cultural legacy of JGEI, state of the art facilities available in the college, professional opportunities and various platforms which shall help the budding engineers to emerge as competent professional and technocrats. Er. Neeraj Pandita, HoD (Mechanical Engg.) formally welcomed the august gathering and highlighted the significance of engineering disciplines and their relevance in the contemporary times which provides an ocean of opportunities to students for learning and professional growth. The key speaker Ehtisham Khan is currently in 7th Semester Mechanical branch of YCET and has been internationally acclaimed as Country Director for International Youth United (IYU), advised the students to identify their individual talent and excel in their chosen fields with self-confidence and self-determination with the available opportunities. He elaborated the content and laid emphasis on skill, punctuality, character and culture are the important factors for a student's success. Er. Arjun Singh delivered vote of thanks to the key speaker and motivated all students for their bright future.
