Opposition will face defeat in DDC polls: Pummy
12/7/2020 9:06:44 PM
Early Times Report
SUCHETGARH, Dec 7: BJP RS Pura District President Harbhajan Singh Pummy on Monday strongly campaigned in favour of BJP DDC candidate from Suchetgarh Sham Choudhary.
While campaigning, Pummy asserted that performance of the party in the UT of J&K and elsewhere in the country as far as public welfare is concerned is outstanding and therefore devastating poll debacle of political opponents of BJP is inevitable.
"It is an open secret that BJP's exemplary work and stoutness is haunting all those political parties which at one or the other points of time have grabbed power in erstwhile state of J&K for furthering their personal gains and hoodwinking people. This fear of getting miserable defeat has forced Kashmir-based parties to solemnize marriage of convenience by way of constituting their 'face saver' viz PAGD and expect a respectable rout rather than decimation of lifetime", Pummy said adding that no tactics by these political outfits from Valley which have lost ground in J&K can now stop BJP from winning over 100 seats in Jammu Province.
Pummy maintained that BJP has not established its supremacy by using any sort of blackmailing strategies which the Gupkar Alliance members did at various points of history by making bargains and keeping at stake the welfare of their own people rather it has religiously followed its ideology of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas'. "This Mool Mantra of BJP has given a distinction to the party and it has earned respect and faith of people leaving behind its opponents by leaps and bounds. This characteristics of BJP will surely going to help the party in ensuring remarkable victory in the ongoing DDC and other polls in the pipeline in J&K and other states," he said.Pummy said that DDC polls will form the basis of making Panchayati Raj system robust and real stakeholders getting empowered by decentralization of power. This is a significant step of BJP dispensation in the Centre led by PM Narendra Modi to strengthen democracy in real sense, he said.
