'Fit India School Week Celebration' concludes at Rich Harvest School

JAMMU, Dec 7: Contributing its bit to 'Fit India Movement', Rich Harvest Public School, Bari Brahmana celebrated the second edition of 'Fit India School Week' with the objective to develop Sports Quotient among its student community and to instill the understanding for regular physical activity and higher levels of fitness that enhance self-esteem and confidence; as the weeklong celebration witnessed an enthusiastic involvement of students and educators in an array of activities. The celebration commenced with a virtual assembly each on 'Common Yoga Protocols' and 'Free Hand Exercises', whereas the activities like debates and lectures on 'Re-strengthening of the mind post pandemic', virtual brain games, poster designing, advertisement drafting, essay writing, poetry composition, and open mic on relevant topics were conducted for junior, middle and senior wing categories. Expressing her views on the mega event, Principal RHS, Anita Bhatia, stressed the necessity of adapting right measures to foster sports quotient among students and echoed the old adage by emphasizing that sound mind resides in a sound body as she endorsed to develop tough minds and firm bodies. At the culmination of the event, Managing Director RHS, Ruchi Charak, said that our youth must develop muscles of iron and nerves of steel to be able to steer the nation ahead.
