Aketa Devi appeals people to vote for development

Jammu, Dec 7: Independent candidate from Miran Sahib DDC seat Aketa Devi on Sunday appealed voters to vote for development in DDC polls. While campaigning from door to door, she said there is an urgent need to elect educated people who work for our development. Vote for the person who can work for the basic needs of people. I appeal to people to vote for development in the region," she said. People will get an opportunity to vote for the person who can fulfil their basic needs," she said. People should participate in the DDC election. It is for our benefit. She said ongoing election process has provided a golden opportunity to the people to defeat evil designs of vested interests. There is an urgent need for the people of Jammu to stand united against those who consistently failed to address sentiments and aspirations of people of J&K. She said DDC elections imperative for Jammu and Kashmir for its socio- political survival as well as for equitable and need based development at gross roots level. She cautioned the people against nefarious designs of forces who want to divide communities to satiate their self-designed political agenda.
