EARLY TIMES REPORT

SRINAGAR, Dec 11: Senior BJP leader and national spokesman Shahnawaz Hussain on Friday said that the party has gained popularity in Kashmir due to which Gupkar Gang seems frustrated.
Addressing a meeting of BJP Minority Morcha, Yuva Morcha and OBC Morcha and other workers at party headquarters in Srinagar, he said people have accepted the BJP, and they are committed for development.
Hussain said people of Jammu and Kashmir will not fall again in the Gupkar Gang trap and as they have exploited the people during the past 70 years.
“The people have rejected them openly during the ongoing elections and they should be ashamed for seeing the ground situation,” he said.
The senior leader said people are upset by their performance as they have deceived them and built their properties.
“People want an audit of their misdeeds and properties which they have done over the past years. BJP was always against corruption and will not tolerate it at any level,” Hussain said.
Reacting about ongoing DDC and Panchayat elections, he said BJP is serious about these elections and the party is reaching every corner of the valley.
Briefing about the upcoming rallies, Hussain said Union Finance and Corporate Minister Anurag Thakur along with the party’s national general secretary Tarun Chugh and J&K General Secretary Org. Ashok Kumar Koul will visit Kashmir on Saturday.
BJP will hold a massive rally in Dal Lake on the 13th and another rally on Hajin area of Bandipora on 14th December.
