| Mayor JMC kick starts development work in Ward No. 37 | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 11: Continuing his endeavor to provide better development & civic amenities to the people of Jammu city, Chander Mohan Gupta Mayor alongwith Advocate Purnima Sharma Deputy Mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation, Dr. Akshay Sharma Councilor of ward No: 8, Dinesh Gupta Councilor of ward No: 18 today on 11/12/2020 visited ward no: 1 and took stock of the progress of the ongoing construction work of multitier parking at Panjthirtii area. Sunil Thusoo Joint Commissioner (Works), Mohit Mahjan Executive Engineer (Project Division) JMC alongwith his supervisory staff, concerned contractors of M/s Vikas & Associates New Delhi who has been allotted this execution work remained present during the tour. Speaking on the occasion, Mayor told that it will be a ramp based multilevel parking having capacity of about 260 numbers of four wheelers, 140 numbers of two wheelers & other allied facilities & an amount of Rs 24 crore has been sanctioned for this Prestigious Project. He further said that Advocate Purnima Sharma Deputy Mayor who also represents ward no.1 (Panjthirti Area) have taken lot of initiatives in starting this much awaited project which was lying in pipeline since long & directed the concerned project division to get the work completed within stipulated time frame by applying best quality & durable building materials. |
