12/11/2020 11:54:24 PM
EARLY TIMES REPORT

JAMMU, Dec 11: Alert BSF troops on Wednesday night fired few rounds on seeing a drone flying close to the international border in Ranbir Singh Pura sector here.
BSF sources here on Thursday said that last night, own men saw a flying object close to the fence, which was a drone.
"They fired some rounds after which the drone returned back," sources added.
A BSF Official here said that the drone movement was noticed at the international border in RS Pura sector of Jammu and Kashmir last night.
"The drone went back after the alert troops fired at it," he added.
The fifth phase of District Development Council elections is also underway on Thursday across the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
Earlier on November 28 and 20 also, BSF troops noticed a drone flying inside the Indian Territory in Samba and Arnia Sectors a day after security forces successfully foiled the nefarious design of Pakistan by neutralizing four terrorists of Jaish-e-Mohammad in Nagrota.
Previously also many such incidents were reported close to the International Border.
Many drones smuggling weapons have been shot down by the BSF troops in Hiranagar and Arnia Sectors.
"Though BSF troops have successfully shot down the arms laden drone on June 20 in Hiranagar sector but before that and after this incident as well, Pakistani drones were seen flying close to Indian Territory and probably they are spying on our activities," official sources said. As per inputs received, Pakistan is plotting against India through its posts and observation towers along the border.
"After unsuccessful attempts to infiltrate the terrorists on the Indo-Pakistan border by violating the ceasefire more than 3000 times, the neighbour is now initiating a 'drone plot' against India," they added.
