Red Ribbon Club JU organizes online painting competition

JAMMU, Dec 11: Red Ribbon Club, Department of Students Welfare, University of Jammu and J&K AIDS Control Society, Department of Health & Medical Education , Government of Jammu & Kashmir organized various National Level Online activities on the event of "World AIDS Day 2020" on the theme - "Global Solidarity Sharing Responsibility" . The competition was open for all. A large number of NSS Volunteers, Students, Scholars, Teachers, Alumni and Parents in all age groups participated in the competition with great enthusiasm and fervor. Various activities which were organized included Mask Designing, Memes, GIFs and Painting competition. The participants had to click and upload a collage of different shots while designing Mask, Painting related to the theme and also short videos of GIFs and Memes for which an online form was created. Through Memes and GIF's the participants spread the message of educating people about all aspects of AIDS including its causes, cure and prevention. They also spread the awareness message designed on masks about various precautions required to be taken during COVID-19. They stressed on public to wear of masks properly, follow social distancing, hand and face hygiene through their messages to combat COVID-19.
