| Pathanateer residents decry lack of basic amenities | | | Early Times Report
Mendhar, Dec 11: People in remote village of Pathanateer in Mendhar Sub Division in Poonch district expressed anguish against authorities over the lack of basic amenities.
Locals Said that they are facing problems of all sorts while no one from the administration has turned to them despite repeated requests. local resident of Pathanateer expressing his resentment and Said that the hamlet lacks basic amenities as there is electric wire hanged with trees and no water supply besides dilapidated road conditions in the area.
He said that the roads in the area are in shambles. "Such is the conditions of roads that we have to take off our shoes which inundated the roads during the heavy rains in the absence of footpaths in the area."
Meanwhile, the locals have urged the Governor-led administration to direct the concerned officers for the redressal of the same. "We appeal Lt. Governor to take our issues into consideration to mitigate our sufferings," they said.
