| Police works out burglary case | | |
EARLY TIMES REPORT
REASI, Dec 15: District Police Reasi solved one theft case which took place in the butcher shop of Shoket Ali S/O Shuma R/O Thuroo in the intervening night of 5/6 December 2020.
On 14 Dec 20 Shoket Ali approached Police Station Arnas with a written complain on which FIR No. 108/20 was registered U/S 457/380 IPC at Police Station Arnas and Police team from Police Station Arnas apprehended two person namely Tanveer Ahmad S/O Bashir Ahmad R/O Dharmari Tehsil Thuroo and Sabar Hussain alias Soni S/O Ibrahim R/O Dharmari Tehsil Thuroo. During interrogation they disclosed that they have made this theft and have kept all the stolen money in the bushes under one stone near Thuroo road and have kept weapon of offence used to break locks in the nearby jungle behind the shop. Later Police took them to the spot disclosed by them and recovered the stolen items in presence of civil witnesses.
The recovery includes Rs 16050, one iron rod and one screwdriver which thieves used to break open the locks.
The whole operation was conducted by SHO Police station Arnas Insp. Rajesh Gautam under the supervision of SDPO Arnas Dr. Satish Bhardwaj, Surjeet Bhagat Addl. SP Reasi and overall supervision of SSP Reasi Rashmi Wazir. |
