| Ace Fencer Vansh Mahajan bestowed with Sher-I-Kashmir Sports Award | | |

Jammu, Dec 15: International Fencer Vansh Manajan has been conferred with prestigious Sher-I-Kashmir Sports Award by Jammu & Kashmir Govt. for his excellent performance in the field of Fencing Game. The Award carries a Memento, A Sports Kit and with Cash Prize of Rs.50000/- be given by J&K Sports Council in a simple function held recently at M.A. Stadium Jammu. Ace Fencer Vansh Mahajan has also honoured with S. Rangil Singh Sports Excellency Award from J&K Olympic Association and represented erstwhile State of Jammu & Kashmir and Country on various occasions including World University Games at Italy, Junior World Cup at Russia, Junior World Championship at Italy, Navy open Fencing Championship at Bangkok, Junior Fencing Championship at Singapore, Thailand Fencing Championship at Thailand, Junior Cadet Common Wealth Fencing Championship at Cape town, South Africa. and won many more medals in School National and National Championship.
Vansh owes his success mainly due to continuous efforts and support of J&K Amateur Fencing Association and J&K Sports Council Coach Chotu Lal Sharma and Mentor International State Awardees Mr. Rasdhid Ahmed Chowdhary. |
