SAMBA, Dec 19: District Police Samba has arrested eight gamblers in the jurisdiction of PS Vijaypur and recovered stake money of Rs 13,700/- from their possession. Acting on specific information regarding gambling, a Police team of PS Vijaypur raided the gambling spot near Ward No 12, Vijaypur and arrested 08 gamblers alongwith stake money of Rs 13,700/- with 02 sets of playing cards.
The Gamblers have been identified as Khem Parshad S/o Visheshwar Parshad, Dineshwar Parshad Sahu S/o Rameshwar Parshad, Sant Ram Bagel S/o Meather Bagel, Ajay kumar Chandra S/o Amrit Lal Chandra, Gansham S/o Gokul Sahu, Behra S/o Surit Ram, Dinesh Kumar Sahu S/o Tula Ram Sahu, Mukesh Kumar S/o Resham Lal Sahu. All are resident of Chattishgarh A/P Ward No 12, Vijaypur. Taking cognizance into the matter, all the gamblers were booked under section 13 of Gambling Act at PS Vijaypur. |
