Jammu, Dec 19: Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA), J&K Regional Branch organized the 4th Executive committee meeting to deliberate on the future action plans of the branch. The meeting was chaired by B R Sharma, IAS (Retd), Chairman of the J&K Regional Branch. The members were informed that IIPA, J&K Regional Branch was ranked the 2nd best branch across the country by IIPA, New Delhi recently on the basis of its performance and various activities undertaken by the branch. Prof Alka Sharma, Hony Secretary of the branch informed that the Executive Committee deliberated on various issues like expansion of the existing building, future flagship programmes, research and publication activities, and collaborative capacity building programmes with various national level institutions.
It was also resolved that the 42nd Annual General Body Meeting of the Regional Branch shall be held on January 9, 2021 (Saturday) through online mode in view of the pandemic. The meeting was attended by Er. J B S Johar, Vice-Chairman; A M Watali, IPS (Retd), K B Jandial, IAS (Retd), Director (Seminars), Kuldeep Khoda, IPS (Retd), Vinod Malhotra, Er.
