| DJTA organises 23rd district Championship | | |

Jammu, Dec 19: 23rd District Jammu Taekwondo Championship 2020 organized by District Jammu Taekwondo Association (DJTA) under the aegis of Jammu & Kashmir Taekwondo Association (JKTA) recognized by J&K Olympic Association (JKOA) at Dogra Brahman Pratinidhi Sabha, Parade, Jammu.
More than 250 Participants from around 15 Clubs across Jammu District are participating in the event The event aims at the development of this Olympic sport at grass root level across the all corners of Jammu District. The Gold medalists of all age groups will be selected for the upcoming State Championship. Every athlete of UT of J&K , junior or senior was having an enormous craze in their eyes for the said event. Many senior Coaches and athletes also took part to glorify the state championship.
On the occasion of the auspicious Opening ceremony D.N Pangotra (President, JKTA) was Chief Guest, while Subash Shastri (President NMC) and Romesh Chander Sharma (Manager DBPS & joint sec. JKTA) joined as Guest of Honour. The Technical team is headed by Atul Pangotra (referee chairman, TFI). Speaking on the occasion DN Pangotra congratulated District Jammu Taekwondo Association for conducting the first event after the Pandemic and urged the Players to participate more and more in such events to remain healthy. |
