Jammu, Dec 20: Er Arun Bangotra, Principal Government Polytechnic College Jammu receive the International Education Award “Outstanding Leadership Principal of the Year” in virtual Award show and conference organized by most coveted and globally reputed institution in education sector Kitescraft Productions, Noida on 19th December.
International Education Awards 2020, powered by Kites Productions, every year felicitate the Organizations and the educationalists who are the best in their field and for their commendable contribution to the education community and have redefined, reimagined and refined the education process.
In virtual award show this year due to Covid, 150 educators and institutes were awarded in virtual award show. Er Arun Bangotra was awarded for recognition of his services in Technical Education sector. After the closure of college due to COVID-19 pandemic, he successfully organized Online classes and examination, various online Awarnesss programmes, Online competitions as a part of Defeat Covid-19 Campaign to boost the morale of students, Webinars, Online Placement drives, Motivational Talks etc throughout the year. Center for Invention, Innovation, Incubation and Training (CIIIT) is being established this year in college in collaboration with Tata Technologies. He is author of many Engineering books, published Research papers in International/National Journals and is also contributing write-ups to many English Dailies including Kashmir Times, State Times, Daily Excelsior etc. During the Virtual Award show, various renowned Speakers across the country, top educationalists spoke on the occasion were Prof Dr. H.K Sardana (Chief Scientist CSIR), Dr. Vijay Kumar Shah (recipient of Padmashree award)- Social Activist & Dental Surgeon, Dr. Kunal Kala renowned Psychiatrist practising in U.K Founder of Circle of Life, Mr. Dilbagh Singh (Motivational Speaker & Director at Brainpower Services Pvt. Ltd.), Ms Richa Thakur (Psychologist - Circle of life), C.K Bharadwaj, GHA Vice-President, Ambassador of Peace and Disarmament from Harmony in India. The Host for the Event was Tony Thomas.
