JAMMU, Dec 24: Sanjeev Kumar Koul, working in School Education Department at Bhaderwah has been conferred with most prestigious Global Teacher Award 2020 in Mycology & Plant Pathology) on 20th December with co-awardees from 110 countries in a Gala Ceremony organised by AKS Education Awards, Gurugram, NCR, INDIA. Microbiology Innovation.
Dr. Sanjeev is an aluminous of the Department of Botany, University of Jammu, who did his Doctorate under the guidance of Prof., Yash Pal Sharma. Dr. Koul is presently posted at Govt. Higher Secondary School Bhalra, Bhaderwah. He has worked extensively on the wild mushrooms flora of Jammu and Kashmir and presented his research across the country and abroad. It is pertinent to mention here that Dr. Koul has been conferred with more than dozen award in the category of Young Scientist, Best scientist, Mycologist award, Best Science teacher award etc.during scientific congregation. |
