| Unscheduled power cuts creating nuisance: Tajinder | | |

JAMMU, Dec 24: Social Activist Tajinder Singh said that unscheduled power cuts across Jammu and Kashmir creating nuisance epically people living in hilly areas, where minimum temperature plummeting to sub zero level in the ongoing winters and frequent power cuts across UT have made winter unbearable for people epically children and elderly as night temperature is slipping to below freezing point. Tajinder said that metered areas are witnessing unscheduled power cuts, the unmetered areas particularly villages across Jammu and Kashmir are witnessing Power outage for longer hours, as due to covid19 people and school going children try to remain at home and students are bound to have online classes but due to frequently power cuts they can't concentrate on their classes. Tajinder Singh requested to LG of Jammu and Kashmir to look into the matter and take immediate action on concern department to improve the power supply in Jammu and Kashmir especially hilly areas of Jammu and Kashmir. |
