Rehbar-e-Khel employees stage protest outside BJP headquarters 12/24/2020 11:18:18 PM EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Dec 24: Rehbar-e-Khel (ReK-Physical Education Teachers) staged protest outside BJP office Jammu under the banner of AJKRKTF. The protest was led by Dheeraj Salaria overall incharge Jammu division in which hundreds of ReK-Physical Education Teachers took part. The protesters raised the slogan and were demanding same probation of 2 years as in other union territories of the country. Dheeraj Salaria while talking to media said that we have knocked door of every administrator for their genuine demands.He told press that our children are facing food starvation and we are not even able to provide proper milk to our babies. Another protester Shahbaz Katoch while talking to media said that he spends Rs 40 daily as bus fare to reach his school and how it's possible that a person can manage his daily needs from the remaining Rs 60 as he is getting mere Rs 100 per day. While talking with one of the female teachers, who broke down while speaking said that she couldn't even manage the expenses of diapers of her baby due to which she every time takes money from her friends and relatives to feed her baby. Chief spokesperson Firdous Hussain told reporters that we request Lt Governor Manoj Sinha ji and Chief Secretary to solve our genuine demands so that we will not suffer more. He said that we tried to approach LG office for appointment but every time our voice goes unheard, adding that we request for an appointment with LG.
