REASI, Dec 24: District Legal Services Authority Reasi, under the Chairmanship of Kamlesh Pandit (Principal District and Sessions Judge) celebrated “National Consumer Day” by organising a series of events, including a webinar.
An awareness camp and rally was also organized at Reasi in collaboration with FSC and Consumer Affairs department which was attended by Chairman DLSA, Secretary DLSA, members of BAR Association Reasi and departments of Civil Administration, Revenue, District Police, Legal Metrology, Food Safety, Labour and Municipal Council Reasi .
On this occasion, the Chairman, Kamlesh Pandit, threw light on the goals of celebrating National Consumer Day.
The Consumers were made aware about their rights and the legal implications on the service providers of wrongdoing with the consumers. Besides this, the day was celebrated by organising an awareness camp at Court Complex Katra and the participants were apprised about the importance of the day. |
