| DDC polls are not referendum for any party: TMF | | |

Jammu, Dec 24: Team Mask Force (TMF) Chairman Vijay Sharma said DDC polls must not be construed as referendum to any political party in JKUT. Denying the media reports that political parties are claiming the same as victory of their stands taken before the polls. The fact is that people of erstwhile J&K state has long ago been demanding for three tier system in the past that is implementation of 73rd & 74 amendments in Jammu and Kashmir which could materialize with the taking over of reign of power by Lt. Gov. Manoj Sinha who by virtue of his political acumen and capabilities of Good governance ensured the implementation of same & nothing beyond that. Minister of State in PMO Dr. Jitender Singh claimed the same as victory of people & victory of democracy he has been wise enough not to claim the same as victory of the leaders his party who have played with the sentiments of Jammuites and didn’t fulfill their aspirations even after the Abrogation of Article 370&35-A. Rather the burdens of Toll Plazas, Imposition of various kinds of Taxes what to talk of Development of any sort. It was only when political leadership realized that if central leadership didn’t jump into Election spree the resultant outcome of party achievements cannot come true without their assurances and commitments. |
