UDHAMPUR, Dec 28: Govt. College for Women, Udhampur organised an online lecture on Google Meet Platform under the MANODARPAN initiative of MHRD, Govt. of India on "Significance of Skill Development Courses in present scenario" as a Placement Cell Activity of the College. Dr.Sumit Sharma, Assistant Prof., Department of English, GCW Udhampur was the resource person on the occasion. He provided valuable information to the students about the significance of Skill development courses in current scenario. He elaborated his lecture by adding different examples in the current context of the employment scenario in India. He also informed the participants about the set of new skill courses being started by the college in coming days. The session went on for about an hour, and was concluded with question/answer session. The event was held under the patronage of Prof. Meenu Mahajan, Principal, Govt. College for Women Udhampur. Paramjit Singh, Coordinator, Placement Cell, Govt. College for Women Udhampur thanked the resource person for the valuable information and for sharing his experience with the students participated in this event. |
