EARLY TIMES REPORT

POONCH, Dec 27: A self-styled BJP leader in Poonch allegedly cheated several local youths promising them jobs in Railway by taking lakhs of rupees from each youth.
The aggrieved youth of Poonch district told Early Times that a local BJP leader, who claimed to be very close to the Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh took huge amount from the gullible unemployed in lieu of job in Railways.
They said that the alleged BJP leader came in connection with some youth and showed them the dream of government jobs in Railways by saying that he knows Rajnath Singh and his nephew in Delhi and with his help; he would manage jobs for them.
“The accused BJP leader told the aggrieved youths that Rajnath Singh has asked him to fill 150 posts in railways from the district. He took an amount worth lakhs for providing them a job,” they said. Astonishingly, he issued appointment orders to the youth, a copy of one such order has come in possession of Early Times, which was shown issued from Government of India, Ministry of Railways, Railway Recruitment Board, New Delhi.
“We were very happy to get appointment letters in 2017 but shockingly the so-called BJP leader went out of their contacts for next two years, which created doubts among them that they have been cheated and lodged a complaint with the police,” the aggrieved youth said. “Recently he visited the district but we were shocked to see that he was given a PSO. We informed the police about his presence in the district after which the police arrested him,” they added.
The youth appealed to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh as well as LG J&K UT Manoj Sinha to intervene and order strict action against the cheater.
