Failing to report in Health & Family Welfare Department
Govt. suspends 9 Medical Officers from Kashmir

jammu, Dec 28: The Jammu and Kashmir government has suspended nine Medical Officer’s from Kashmir for failing to report in Health & Family Welfare Department, J&K.
As per the reports, the nine Medical Officers who were suspended were on a probationary period. Further, the reports added that on the recommendation of Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission vide Government order in 2018 sanctioned the appointment of 371 Medical Officer in the J&K Health and Family Welfare (Gazetted Service).
And whereas the Directorate of Health Services Kashmir vide his communication has furnished details of the following Medical Officers who after the expiry of the extended spell of joining period have failed to join in the Directorate of Health Services, Kashmir thereby resorting to unauthorized absence.
The Medical Officers have been identified as Dr Tajamul from Anantnag, Dr Syed Nawaz Ahmad from Pulwama, Dr Mohsin Raj Mantoo from Anantnag, Dr Farhana Fayaz from Srinagar, Dr Zahoor Ahmad Parry from Kulgam, Dr Yaseer Ahmad from Srinagar, Dr Asif Hussain from Srinagar, Dr Syed Bushra from Chadoora and Dr Arijmanad Yaqoob from Pulwama.
And whereas it can be concluded that aforementioned the nine Medical Officers after seeking extension in their joining to a particular time have failed to join in Directorate of Health Services, Kashmir and therefore their services, in light of the condition of government order, are no more protected, hence their probation requires to be terminated and they are to be discharged from the J&K Health & Family Welfare Gazetted services without giving any further notice in light of Rule 21 (1) of the J&K Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules 1956.
