LPGEF Kishtwar demands release of 10% NPS share

Kishtwar, Dec 28: Low Paid Govt. Employees Federation Kishtwar working in various Govt. Departments in Distt. Kishtwar in an emergent meeting held under the Chairmanship of Manzoor Ahmed Kichloo, President have demanded that 10% Govt. Share under New Pension Scheme, which is pending drawal in favour of all low paid Govt. Employees working in different Government Departments in District Kishtwar. This has been given to understand that due to lack of funds, the Government Share of 10% could not be realized into the accounts of the employees, which has badly told upon the financial incurrings of the employees. Moreover, in the meeting some other important issues also came up for detailed discussions and deliberations. In one such issues, the issue for authorization of One-month additional Salary to all such employees, who have dispensed off their election duties for DDC & Panchayat By-Election 2020 be released. Since, as per previous practices, the Govt. has been kind enough to accord sanction of One-month additional Salaries to the employees taking part in the electioneering process. The Low Paid Govt. Employees have urged upon the His Excellency the Lieut. Governor of J&K U.T. to kindly accede to the above issues raised thereof to provide some sort of respite to aggrieved employees.
Those who expressed their views in the meeting include Mohinder Kumar, Farooq Ahmed Butt, Bhori Singh, A.K. Pandita, Ab. Latief Malik, Kuldeep Singh Badyal, Mohd Nayeem Ahanger, Gh. Qadir Malik, Prasan Singh, Tariq Hussain Narwani , Mohinder Singh, Ashok Kumar, Sajid Hassan, Mushtaq Ahmed Mir, Ab. Qayoom Akhoon and others.
