AHD Ramban intensifies backyard poultry initiative, invites applications from farmers

RAMBAN, Jan 5: With an aim to boost the poultry as well as egg productions in district Animal Husbandry Department (AHD) Ramban, has invited the applications from formers who have experience in backyard poultry for establishing Model Innovative poultry Productivity under project Low Input Technology (LIT) birds of a centrally sponsored scheme National Rural Livelihood Mission .
The selected beneficiaries would be provided 200 LIT birds and for more information regarding the scheme and process can contact or visit the Poultry Extension Officer, Ramban.
The District Level committee would select the 40 beneficiaries including 28 General, 04 TSP and 08 SCSP component by the draw of lots.
As per notification issued by the Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, Ramban the applicant must be a permanent resident of the district. The applicant should be in the age group of 18 to 50 years and he must have ownership rights of proposed land.
The application duly recommended by their respective PRIs alongwith one passport size photograph of the beneficiary and photocopy of Domicile certificate, Bank Pass Book, AADHAR Card, Revenue record, Ration card besides Category certificate if any must be submitted in CAHO office Ramban within ten days from the publication of said information.
It was informed that the beneficiary will submit an affidavit that he/she will continue the LIT bird rearing in future and not have availed the benefit from such centre or UT sponsored schemes during the last three years.
