DE&CC Kishtwar hosts month long e-counselling, awareness programme

KISHTWAR, Jan 5: District Employment & Counselling Centre - DECC Kishtwar has hosted a month long e-Counselling cum Awareness Programme for the students of Government Degree College. The campaign started from January 4-2021 and last till February 8-2021.
The programme is conducted under the patronage of Principal GDC Kishtwar. Prof Anirudh Sharma & AD Employment, Anoop Kumar Sharma and Coordinated by Employment Officer, DECC, Waseem Hassan Khan & Prof. MM Mattoo, Career Counselling Cell incharge GDC Kishtwar.
First session of the programme was conducted yesterday, where Mamta Sharma, Career Counselling Officer JD Employment Office Jammu delivered a presentation on career, decision making process, career options after graduation & psychometric tests.
Around 100 participants joined the e-session along with officers/officials of Employment Dept. & GDC Kishtwar.
Next e-sessions is going to be on Civil Services Exam, Importance of Life Skills, Importance of Skill Development, Entrepreneurship & Different Govt. Schemes/Scholarships by Resource Persons including AD Employment, Anoop Kumar; District Nodal Officer, JKEDI Arshad Malik;, Prof M M Mattoo (GDC Kishtwar); JKEDI Srinagar, Dr. Mohammad Furqan Khan and Waseem Hassan Khan, Employment Officer DECC Kishtwar.
