Youth Cong to intensify movement for 4G, statehood, jobs

JAMMU, Jan 5: Restoration of Statehood, ever-rising graph of unemployment and restoration of 4G internet services across the union territory are among the major issues which the Jammu and Kashmir Youth Congress will be highlighting in the days to come, besides taking up the same with the administration.
This was informed by Indian Youth Congress Secretary and Incharge for J&K, Jagdev Gaga who on Tuesday chaired the State Executive Meeting of Jammu and Kashmir Youth Congress here, in the presence of Uday Chib, President J&K Youth Congress.
State office bearers of the Jammu and Kashmir Youth Congress along with assembly office bearers and District office bearers also attended the meeting.
In the meeting, the Youth Congress held elaborative discussions on the obtaining situation in the Union Territory and noted that the people across Jammu and Kashmir are facing various issues due to negligent outlook of the government towards the general masses.
“The people of Jammu and Kashmir have been suffering greatly since past 2-3 years and it is sad to say that nothing much has changed ever since. The Youth Congress has been playing a proactive role in the union territory, and will continue to highlight the public issues prominently,” said Jagdev Gaga, Indian Youth Congress Secretary and Incharge for J&K.
Chib said that the meeting discussed the various contours of the prevailing state of affairs that the union territory is going through.
“We have prepared the roadmap for the J&K unit Youth Congress for next 4-5 months. Besides highlighting public issues such as restoration of 4G Internet and restoration of Statehood, besides rising unemployment, the Youth Congress will also take up these important matters with the administration,” he added.
