1/18/2021 10:44:04 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 18: Aggrieved Empanelled Rehbar e Taleem aspirants assembled at Press enclave and staged protest against the governments apathy over dilly and delay tactics in issuance of their appointment orders.
They raised slogans against the people at helm of affairs and in support of their demands.
Bishan Dass who was leading the protest lambasted the successive regimes for halting appointment orders in favour of aspirants who were empanelled in 2015-16 as Rehbar e Taleem Teachers by one or other pretext.
He said that we are not demanding stars from the sky but our legitimate right has been snatched by the government which is totally unacceptable and will be fought tooth and nail unless and until the demand get resolved.
Dali Sharma another protester said, we have also approached High Court of Jammu and Kashmir, which issued clear cut directions in favour of us but we have been receiving only hallow assurances from the quarters of the administration which has compelled us to hit streets.
Our families are at the verge of starvation as there is no other means to earn our Livelihoods. Ironically most of the candidate have crossed the age limits to get any other job which has inevitably deepened the crises among us.
She expressed anguish over the claims and transparency of the Department which has already issued some appointment orders in favour of blue eyed & politically influential candidates and delaying our orders are completely unjustified and has caused deep anxiety and Embracement to us.
Seeking intervention of LG Manoj Sinha for immediate issuance of appointment orders, she said if the stalemate continues for more time we will not only hit the streets again but will intensify our struggle and the responsibility of which shall lie on the government.
