New CCI team will work for uplifting business community: Nitish

JAMMU, Jan 18: Senior BJP leader Nitish Mahajan today congratulated the new office bearers of Jammu Chamber of Commerce Industry (JCCI) and pinned hopes on the new elected team to work for resolving the grievances of the business community, besides uplifting the fraternity here.
In the prestigious elections held a day before, Arun Gupta was elected as new president of the JCCI and Gaurav Gupta as Secretary General, while Anil Gupta was elected as Senior Vice President, Rajeev Gupta as Junior Vice President, Rajesh Gupta (B) as Secretary and Rajesh Gupta as Treasurer. Nitish Mahajan, also the State Executive Member of BJP congratulated the newly elected president Arun Gupta and other office bearers of Jammu Chamber of Commerce Industry. In a statement issued to the press today, Mahajan said that he hopes that under the dynamic force of the new team of the chamber, all the emerging and burning issues facing the business community will be addressed efficiently. “I congratulate Mr Arun Gupta and other members of the team who have been elected to the office of the Jammu Chamber of Commerce Industry (JCCI). I hope that the entire team of new office bearers works with full coordination and cooperation, respecting the mandate that the members of the chamber have given them,” he said.
“I am hopeful that under the leadership of Arun Gupta, the new team of chamber will address the issues of the business community at the right platform in the most efficient manner,” he added. Noting that the chamber will have to work in tandem with the government to make the business conditions better for the province, Mahajan said that the businessmen of Jammu have their high hopes pinned on the new office bearers of the chamber.
