| DDC reviews progress of B2V programme, Pakal Dool HEP- RR Plan | | |  Early Times Report
KISHTWAR, Jan 18: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kishtwar, Ashok Sharma, today reviewed the progress under Back to Village (B2V) programme and implementation of local area development plan under RR Plan of Pakal Dool HEP for the financial year 2019-20, here in his office chamber.
The DDC reviewed physical and financial achievements of PWD, PHE, JPDCL, RDD, Youth Services & Sports, Sheep Husbandry and other departments.
He also held detailed discussion on implementation of the the Local Area Development plan under RR plan Pakal Dool HEP. He directed the District officers and executing agencies to accelerate the pace of developmental works so that fruits of development reach to each and every one down in the ladder of development. He also underscored the need of timely utilization of funds to avoid cost escalation and lapse of funds.
To keep proper track of developmental works, he sought fortnightly report from all the executing agencies. He sought strict action against the erring agencies and contractors who have failed to complete projects well in time.
Besides various bottlenecks faced by the executing agencies in the implementation of the developmental works were also discussed in the meeting and necessary directions were passed by DDC to remove them.
Among others, the meeting was attended by Joint Director Planning Mohd Iqbal; District Youth Services & Sports Officer, Kharati Lal; Dy Chief Education officer, Rajinder Singh; Executive Engineer, R&B division, Marwah, Mohammad Aslam Lone; Xen PDD. Narotum Kumar; Block Development Officer, Mughal Maidan, Arun Kumar Badyal; AEE PDD, Sudhir Sharma besides other concerned.
