Congress questions Modi Govt over increase of mischiefs by Pak China
1/22/2021 10:43:27 PM
EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Jan 22: Expressing deep shock over the martyrdom of Havaldar Nirmal Singh in Krishana Ghati sector in Poonch, Congress has raised questions over the every year increased record number of ceasefire violations by Pakistan during the BJP regime.
JKPCC Chief G A Mir said that the second casualty of a Havaldar in 21 days and over 5100 incidents of Pakistan shelling last year, is a matter of great concern. Earlier a Naib Subedar Rajinder Singh was martyred in Nowshera sector due to Pak shelling on the first day of this year.
Strongly condemning Pakistan for the continued mischiefs and misadventures on the LOC and borders along J and K JKPCC took strong exception to the failures of the Modi government to contain and stop the increased mischiefs by Pakistan, during BJP regime which is indicated from the record 5100 incidents of Pakistan shelling during the previous year, which is highest in last 18 years.
He said when these incidents of ceasefire violations by Pakistan were just a hundred or so , in a year, during UPA regime BJP leadership would raise questions terming the Dr Manmohan Singh Govt as weak. Going by these parameters of BJP, Modi government should accept the charge of being weakest on this front including the continued mischiefs by China's too , which have crossed all limits in Ladakh region and Arunachal Pradesh during BJP regime .
Modi government must take effective steps to silence guns against India, as how long the country shall tolerate our jawans and border residents getting martyred and their families getting ruined. We salute the martyrs and their families and express full sympathies with them.
