Now, Mehbooba calls Balakote airstrikes mere Drama
Running with hare, hunting with hounds!

early times report
jammu, Jan 22: In one of her bizarre assertions, the PDP Chief known for her egregious remarks and statements has termed the Balakote air strikes a mere drama enacted to hoodwink the public opinion. The statement is something that even notorious Pakistan dreads to make.
In her recent interview with an online portal based in New Delhi, Mehbooba questioned the motive behind the Balakote air strikes and even termed them a mere drama enacted by the government.
Meanwhile, people in droves on social media are ridiculing such a statement of the PDP President terming such remarks derogatory and utterly flagitious. "This is the height of sedition. You cannot on one side claim that you are an Indian and on the other side speak that language that even rival countries do not speak," said a social media user.
Meanwhile, there are even voices being heard that demand filing of an online petition against such remarks at an earliest.
Interestingly, in the year 2018, then governor Satya Pal Malik stated in an interview that he admits the fact that when Mehbooba Mufti was the chief minister of the state, the recruitment of militants witnessed a spike and also those pelting stones too found it easier to attack the security forces. Such a revelation was made for the first time since the governor Malik assumed office in Jammu and Kashmir and had also given a subtle hint at the possible reasons why BJP in New Delhi was compelled to take away its support from the PDP and topple the government in the year 2018. "I have not gone to Jammu and Kashmir with the BJP's band wagon. I will work as per the constitution and as far as the previous government in the state is concerned, there must be some reason that the support from the PDP was withdrawn. And I admit the fact that while Mehbooba Mufti was the chief minister of the state, the militant recruitment increased and stone pelters too got away easily while pelting the stones. And what we are reaping at present is what the coalition did in the state but at that time those who were in alliance partners in the government should have reacted to the mistakes being done. Today, I am not answerable to their wrongs," Governor Malik had said in an interview.
Prior to that, she said that she would not have allowed the army to kill militant Burhan Wani had she known prior to the gun battle.
"It was very unfortunate thing that happened. I have said this several times that had I known Burhan Wani was present in that encounter I would not have allowed them to kill him. I knew that he was popular on social media and he was not involved in any encounter and he had not killed anyone. So even as chief minister I had given orders in unified command that local militants should be given a chance to come back," Mehbooba on March 13, 2019 said in an interview with a Mumbai based newspaper.
