| DC Kishtwar reviews pending land compensation cases | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
KISHTWAR, Jan 22: Deputy commissioner Kishtwar Ashok Sharma today chaired the meeting with the collectors and reviewed the progress in the acquisition of land and disbursement of land compensations claims of various projects for which land has been acquired in district.
The meeting was attended by Joint Director Planning Mohd Iqbal,SDM chatroo Inderjeet Singh Parihar, SDM Paddar Varunjeet Singh Charak, XEn PMGSY Mohinder Singh, XEn PWD Division Marwah Mohd Aslam Lone besides others.
In the meeting thread bare discussion regarding the status of the land compensation paid /pending was reviewed and slew of directions were passed on to the concerned collectors to resolve the issues of long pending payments of land compensation to the land owners.
In this regard, DC kishtwar directed the collectors to finalise the pending awards so that the owner may not suffer any more besides directed them for the timely disbursement of the awarded amount among the rightful land owners.
Further the collectors were asked to project the road wise additional land compensation amounts so that the same could be projected to the higher authorities for timely sanctioning.
In order to ensure the road connectivity across the district, DC asked the executing agencies to expedite the pace of work of the ongoing roads so as to complete these projects in set time frame. |
