Dharmarth Trust employees’ chain hunger strike continues

JAMMU, Jan 31: The agitation of Dharmarth Trust Employees’ Association (DTEA) entered 62nd day while its chain hunger strike entered 35th day in support of their demands to constitute a public board for all temples.
Today Vipin Shastri member of Hindi Department Delhi visited at Rameshwar Mandir Parade and joined the agitation of DTEA and assured the striking employees that he will take up this matter to PMO office very shortly and also with Lt Governor Manoj Sinha to constitute a public board for all temples under Dharmarth Trust or merge the same with Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board which was the part of Dharmarth Trust prior to 1986 and also conduct CBI enquiry for all scandals in Dharmarth Trust.
National Conference leader Davinder Rana also visited and joined the striking employees and addressed the employees, he also assured the striking employees that he has already written a letter to Lt Governor to resolve the issues of striking employees who are on agitation for the last 62 days which is not good in the eyes of Hindu society.
Davinder Rana and Vipin Shastri and all other organizations respectively appeal the striking employees to withdraw their sankalp of Jal Samadhi and they need not to take this strong step as it is against the Sanatan Dharm.
Keeping in view the repeated requests of all organizations such as Sanatan Dharm Sabha, Ek Jutt Jammu, Shiv Sena Bala Saheb Thakrey, Sarav Shakti Sena, FFMA, JPPF, Khad Sadhu Samaj, Shri Raghunath Sewa Samiti, Shri Ram Sena, JJSF, Rajput Sabha, the striking employees have decided to withdraw their decision in view of respect of all organizations who assured that this not a demand of employees only this is the demand of every Hindu to constitute a public board of all temples under Dharmarth Trust to safeguard Dogra Heritage.
The persons who sat on hunger strike today included Ritu Devi, Anju Sharma, Sonika Manhas, Sukeshni Kumari, Renu Sharma, Vaishno Sharma, Parsino Devi, Jyoti Devi, Shushma Sharma and Poli Devi.
