| POJK Sharnarthi Intellectual Forum appeals LG not to open schools | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Feb 2: All J&K 1947 POJK Sharnarthi Intellectual Forum convened a meeting of its core committee members under the chairmanship of Amrik Singh and joined by S.Surjit Singh general secretary of Forum.
At the outset of the meeting members appealed to Lt Governor, advisor education deptt and director schools not to open the primary level schools before March 2021 the reason behind is that the school going children are innocent and ignorant about the Covid virus and even they're not aware about the wearing of masks and other precautionary measures like keeping distances.
The forum elaborated that Govt. should also complete the promotion of final test examination process before March 2021.and registration of admissions be completed before march.
The forum suggested that until and unless the covid virus intensity is reduced the primary class level children should not be allowed to attend schools. The members expressed their hope that keeping in view sensitivity of the environmental condition the administration may issue an advisory in this regard. |
