JAMMU, Feb 2: Shiksha Niketan Senior Secondary School, Jeevan Nagar-Jammu conducted an online Inter class "poster making" competition for classes 5th, 6th & 7th on the eve of the " Martyers' Day on 30th of January 2021.
This day is commemorated to pay "reverent homage" to our national patriots who have fought and sacrificed their lives for the freedom, welfare and progress of India. All the students performed with their keen interest and enthusiasm. On 30th of January, 1948, Gandhi ji fell victim to a young man's bulletshot. He said, "Ram, Ram and Ram" thrice and breathed his last. His death plunged the entire India into mourning. The Indians cannot forget the services of Gandhi ji. He is remembered to this day as the "Father of the Nation".
This competition was adjudged by Neha wadhera, the drawing teacher of the school. In this competition both - Prabdeep kour and Abhinav Choudhary 6th 'E' bagged 1st position, Gagneek Kaur 7th - I and Mohit Thakur 6th 'I' got second position, while Parth 5th I and Ananya Kalhan 5th 'D' both secured 3rd Position. |
