| United Sports Club, Young Rovers win opening matches on day 1 | | Premier League J&K | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Feb 2: Two matches were played at GGM Science College, Football Ground, Jammu on the first day of the Football League in the ongoing Premier League J&K 2020-21 District Jammu organized under the aegis of J&K Sports Council in collaboration with Football Association.
The 1st match was played in between United Sports Club (USC) and NGR Football Club, wherein the United Sports Club trounced the NGR Football Club with a margin of 4-1. The highest scorer of the match was Sumit Sharma who scored two goals, Munish Manhas and Biswajeet Jeena scored a goal each for United Sports Club. In the 2nd Match, fortune smiled upon the Young Rovers Football Club (YRFC) as it defeated Vijay Football Club by the score of 4-2. Rahul Sharma scored 2 goals for the winning team while other two goals were scored by Munlizer Mehandi and Rizwan Angdo each.
Rohit Bhat from the Vijay Football Club played an excellent game and scored two goals for his team. |
