JAMMU, Feb 2: Alleging financial irregularities in Central University of Jammu (CUJ) during the last five years, the JKNPP today staged a strong protest demonstration against the Vice Chancellor, CUJ Ashok Aima outside Press Club, Jammu.
Led by Rajesh Pargotra, Provincial President JKNPP, the protesters demanded the removal of VC, CUJ to ensure fair inquiry after Anti-Corruption Bureau has initiated probe into financial irregularities in CUJ.
Protestors also burnt the effigy of Ashok Aima, Vice Chancellor of Central University of Jammu and demanded free, fair and speedy trial of the case in ACB regarding financial irregularities done by Ashok Aima. It is pertinent to mention here that Anti-Corruption Bureau has initiated probe into financial irregularities in Central University of Jammu (CUJ) during the last five years. |
