Early Times Report

Jammu, Feb 5: Jammu Kashmir Medical Employees Federation, Pallanwalla Jammu today organized one day Dharna under the president ship of Pawan Kumar president JKMEF Block Pallanwalla ,Jammu to highlight the burning and genuine problems of medical employees who are fighting with the world wide pandemic Covid -19 .
DPC of all the categories pending for the last four years which is supposed to be held twice in a year, despite of repeated representations and deputations nothing is done so far for employees who are dealing with the Covid -19 and are compelled to protest for their genuine demands.
DPC should be clear at par with the Govt Medical College / Drug and Food Organization on the pattern of executive order passed by the administrative department till the SRO-20 is not amended. Those employees who lost their life while fighting Covid -19 are deprived from the compensation / insurance has announced by the UT Govt which demoralized the spirit of the employees. Release the pending salary of the female multipurpose health workers which is due from the last 5 months and they are facing starvations.
Govt Pharmacists who could not registered them self before the revocation of 370 should be registered under New central Pharmacy Act 1948.
Basic Health Workers who get promotions after training are deprived of further training sessions. SRO 20 is getting dust in the civil secretariat from the last 30 yrs for necessary amendment is waiting to see the light of day due to that many health employees suffered a lot from the last 30 years and UT Govt. of Jammu & Kashmir is not paying any heed to its genuine amendment. While addressing the Dharna Sushil Sudan and Madan lal Sharma urged the UT Govt to consider the demand of the medical employees at the earliest otherwise we were compelled to launch further strong course of action. Those who attended the Dharna were Moti Lal, Kuldeep Raj , Amit Kumar, Surjoo Devi, Sonya Sharma and others.
