JAMMU, Feb 5: To promote literary activities in the Jammu Division, the Cultural Wing, Department of Information & Public Relations(DIPR), Jammu today organized a Multilingual Mushaira cum Cultural Programme based on Covid-19 Do’s and Don’ts, here in the premises of Dogri Sahtiya Sabha Kupper - Paraglta,.
Sarpanch Panchayat Halqa Pargalta, Darshana Devi was the chief guest on the occasion.
The Chief Guest appreciated the poets for presenting meaningful and entertaining poetic works. She urged for organizing more such type of awareness programmes on the current social issues for the benefit of common masses.
The prominent and budding poets of the area including, Janak Raj Bhagat, Raj Kuamr Sharma, Ram Paul Sharma, Vishal Dogra, Subash Sumberiya, Ashok Kumar Sharma, Sapan Mohammad, Narryan Dutt, Puran Chand, Sansar Chand Kalotra, Jog Raj Sharma etc participated in the mushaira and presented their poetic work on the topics touching all aspects of society. On the occasion, a scintillating cultural programme featuring folk dance and music was also presented by artists of Cultural Wing DIPR, Jammu.
Drama Instructor, Vijay Anand, besides Senior Artists of Cultural Wing, Kamal Kumar, Mohinder Kumar, Balbir Singh & Banti Kumar were also present on the occasion. |
