EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Feb 5: Taking Narendra Modi led NDA Government schemes at grass root level, Former Minister and Ex-MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma (CA) provided Ayushman Bharat Golden Card to a needy patient Maharaj Krishan Karihullo at his residence in Bhagwati Nagar, Ward 14 of Jammu West Assembly segment.
Sharma was accompanied by BJP District President Munish Khajuria, BJP Mandal President Keshav Chopra, District General Secretaries Advocate Rajesh Gupta & Advocate Karan Sharma and several others including family of the patient and political activists.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that the flagship scheme of the Government, Ayushman Bharat is the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to provide universal health care to the poor, needy and vulnerable sections of the country, who most need it.
A path-breaking approach and a game-changer, it is probably the biggest public healthcare initiative in the world and it is a boon for us given by the Modi Government to every resident of J&K which covers everyone under the health insurance, he stated.
He also stated that MK Karihullo is suffering from a major paralysis and one side of his body does not work properly. Being a responsible citizen, it is our duty to help the needy in every way possible and that is the reason the activists of the party decided to help him in getting his Ayushman Bharat Golden Card so that he can get himself treated from best hospitals across the country, he said.
Munish Khajuria said that many Central sponsored schemes were implemented in Jammu West at grass root level under the leadership of former MLA which helped common man a lot to change its lifestyle.
The Karihullo family also expressed their gratitude towards Former MLA for providing them the Golden Card in a short span of time.
