| GDC holds awareness programme on Nasha Mukt Bharat | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
RAJOURI, Feb 5: An awareness programme on "Nasha Mukht Bharart" was organized in Govt. Degree College Darhal in collaboration with Tehsil Social Welfare Office, Rajouri. On this occasion, Munawar Mir was the resource person who explained in detail the ill effects of various addictive substances which are easily available in market these days and how these substances affect the nervous system. He talked about LSD, Ganja, Brown Sugar, Crude molasses, cocaine, heroin, alcohol, nicotine and cannabis. On this occasion Principal of the College Prof. Sumanesh Jasrotia motivated the students to stay away from this drug menace and concentrate on their studies. He advised the students not to fall prey to drugs and ruin their future.
He said that the students should lead a highly disciplined life for growing their personality and should inculcate moral values for their better careers. He also thanked the resource person for highly informative lecture on drug abuse and also thanked Tehsil Social Welfare Office, Rajouri for providing a unique opportunity to the students to listen to highly informative talk on drug addiction.
