DDC Chairmen’s election in Sgr, Shopian exposed PAGD’s melodrama: Kavinder
2/7/2021 11:19:03 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Feb 7: The poll results of DDC chairmen in Srinagar and Shopian, the significant constituencies of Jammu and Kashmir clinched by J&K’s Apni Party has exposed People’s Alliance for Gupkar Declaration (PAGD) by showing its leaders the place they deserved.
This was stated by senior BJP senior leader and former deputy chief minister Kavinder Gupta in a statement issued here on Sunday. He said that melodrama conceived and staged by PAGD representatives met its fate in the Valley with people rejecting the unholy alliance and going for newly formed political entity Apni Party dispensing the information across the party lines that NC, PDP and even Congress party are spent forces and possess nothing for satiating the aspirations of people of the newly carved out UT. He said that opening of account by the BJP in Kashmir Valley is a significant change and a signal that soon the party will form a strong base in the region by continuing its prolific policies proving to be bountiful for the people facing hardships on account of unending violence and lawlessness supported tacitly by successive governments just to befool people and carry on with their petty political agenda.
“The poll outcome of DDC chairmen in Srinagar and Shopian has given a strong reason to PAGD constituents to reconsider their decision and try out for new alignment in the political circles to give a comprehensive option to people facing wrath of successive dispensations so that a better life full of opportunities can be offered to them and they can be saved from possibilities of dearth and denial of services and facilities”, he said adding that the aforesaid polls have shown the mirror to PAGD members and all their doubts about representing people of J&K have been cleared with no space left for any kind of uncertainty or qualm.
Meanwhile, a delegation of residents of Gandhi Nagar Constituency met the former Deputy Chief Minister and apprised him of the issues being faced by them being related to basic amenities.
The senior BJP leader assured the delegation that their issues will be resolved in a time bound manner.
