| PDP, NC Cong leaders have no time to pay tributes to Pulwama martyrs | | |

Jammu, Feb 14: While as the whole nation paid tributes to martyrs on the second anniversary of Pulwama terror attack, Congress, PDP and NC leaders in J&K could not spare time to pay tributes to those brave hearts who lost their lives in the attack.
While as PDP and NC leaderships were busy in claiming that they were denied entry by the authorities to come out of their homes to visit families of some terrorists killed recently, Congress leaders were busy in other activities.
Throughout the day, National Conference leader and former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah tweeted pictures and posts on social media to claim that he was ‘house arrest’ but he has not mentioned even a single word to pay tributes to martyrs.
“This is the “naya/new J&K” after Aug 2019. We get locked up in our homes with no explanation.
It’s bad enough they’ve locked my father (a sitting MP) & me in our home, they’ve locked my sister & her kids in their home as well”, Omar tweeted in the morning, followed by another tweet, “Chalo, your new model of democracy means that we are kept in our homes without explanation but on top of that the staff that works in the house aren’t being allowed in and then you are surprised that I’m still angry & bitter”.
As far as Mehbooba Mufti she has not posted any tweet to pay tributes to the Pulwama martyrs. She rather re-tweeted some reports to authenticate her allegations that she was ‘house-arrest’.
“Placed under house arrest as usual for trying to visit the family of Athar Mushtaq killed allegedly in a fake encounter. His father was booked under UAPA for demanding his dead body. This the normalcy GOI wants to showcase to the EU delegation visiting Kashmir.”, earlier she tweeted.
Local leaders of the national party Congress also maintained silence on the second anniversary of the dreaded terror attack. |
